Starting Our Garden- Composting

Long time, no see! I took a little break from my blogging. We are starting a garden this year & I'm so excited! Step one, we got our compost pile ready. We had some extra drums that are food grade & we had used for water storage. You could really use any container or just put some wire around a spot in your yard to keep the compost contained. Just make sure any container you use is chemical free & you can stir up the compost. I bought a bag of organic soil & fertilizer that was on sale at the local hardware store. Make sure you have fertilizer because it will really aid in your compost breaking down. Layer your soil & scraps. Stir & keep adding. That's it!
